A GTN client needed cooling containers to store milk for their new buyers. Their interest for trade cooperation was sent to over 40 firms from USA which were in GTN’s database. Through GTN, the firm was able to find cooling containers through the European distributor for an American producer.
A firm from Bosnia and Herzegovina was interested in the sale of its product in USA. It registered with GTN free-of-charge and announced the sale of its products, in other words made so-called “Sales Notes”. At the same time, a firm from USA, whose owner and manager was immigrant to America coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and, as GTN client, was interested in buying specific agri-food products from BiH for the chain of his stores. GTN system, through so-called HS codes, linked these firms; they soon made direct contact and, after a while, buy and sell was performed. Both sides highlighted that this was just the beginning of their long-term business cooperation.
