BH Wood processing Cluster successfuly presented at Trade Fair Ambienta 2007

On October 21, 2007 the 34th International Furniture, Interior and Related Equipment Zagreb Trade Fair Ambienta 2007 concluded. USAID CCA, along with GTZ and the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber of Commerce, supported joint exhibition of the BH Wood Processing& Forestry Cluster at the Fair. Twenty-nine wood processing companies from BiH exhibited, mostly furniture producers. Twenty-three of these are cluster stakeholders. Ambienta is the biggest and the most important furniture fair in this part of Europe. Satisfaction of cluster members with the results of previous attendance at Ambienta led them to increase the joint BiH exhibition space to over 1,000 m2 , the biggest single space at this year's Fair.
The Tuzla Canton Chamber of Commerce was the main organizer of the BiH exhibition.
Three BiH Cluster stakeholders received awards at Ambienta 2007: the Chamber of Commerce of Tuzla Canton for high level of performance, D.I. Janj from Donji Vakuf for its veneered interior frames and doors, and Sinkro from Ilidľa for its RAMONA-ESMA dining chairs. Congratulations to the award winners!
