International SASO 07 Trade Fair in Split
USAID CCA for the first time supported participation of BH Wood Processing & Forestry Cluster members at the SASO Trade Fair held over October 24-28, in Split, Croatia. SASO consists of several specialized fairs, of which construction and woodprocessing are of the greatest interest. Tuzla and Mostar Chambers of Crafts, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry for Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, organized the exhibition of six cluster members at the fair, mainly producers of joinery.
The SASO fair is showing strong growth. This year there were 2,154 exibitors from 15 countries on 153,000 m2 of floor space. By exhibiting, our companies made business contacts to engage in this year's annual investment cycle for the building of hotels and other tourism premises in Croatia and other neighboring countries..
